At Waypoint ABA, services are designed to meet your child where they are and support growth across home, school, and community settings.


We focus on building functional skills, reducing behaviors that interfere with learning, and promoting long-term independence through evidence-based ABA therapy.

EARLY INTERVENTION (CENTER-BASED ABA)

A strong start, built with intention


Our primary program is a structured, center-based model designed for children ages 18 months to 6 years.

In a consistent and supportive environment, children develop foundational skills during critical stages of development through individualized, data-driven programming.


Focus areas include:

  • Functional communication 
  • Social interaction and play skills 
  • Early learning readiness 
  • Emotional regulation 
  • Daily routines and independence 


Programming is continuously adjusted based on ongoing assessment and data to ensure meaningful, measurable progress..

After-School & Extended Day ABA Services

   Where the school day ends, growth continues 


Our after-school and extended day services support school-age children in strengthening skills beyond the classroom.
 

This program provides structured support beyond the school day while reinforcing skills across environments.  
 

Focus areas include:

· Social skills and peer interaction 

· Behavior regulation and flexibility 

· Task completion and independence 

· Functional communication and adaptive skills 

 
 

Services are individualized to complement each child’s educational program and daily routines.

Individualized ABA Therapy & Intervention

   Every plan is built with purpose


Comprehensive assessments and observations are conducted to identify behavioral patterns, determine the function of behavior, and guide targeted intervention.


This process includes:

Evaluation of skill strengths and deficits 

Identification of environmental variables impacting behavior 

Development of individualized treatment plans 

Ongoing program modification based on data

Communication, Social & Adaptive Skill Development

   Skills that matter in everyday life 


We target the development of essential skills needed for independence across environments.


Programming focuses on:

Functional communication 

Social interaction and relationship building 

Adaptive and daily living skills 

Participation in home, school, and community settings

Behavior Reduction & Skill Acquisition Programming

   Replacing barriers with better tools 


We address behaviors that interfere with learning by identifying the function of behavior and implementing targeted, evidence-based intervention.


Treatment focuses on:

Increasing appropriate replacement behaviors 

Improving tolerance and flexibility 

Reducing avoidance and disruptive behavior 

Supporting emotional regulation and self-management

Parent Training & Caregiver Support

  Because progress doesn’t stop at the clinic 


We partner with families to promote consistency and long-term success across environments.


Caregiver training includes:

Implementation of effective behavior strategies 

Support with daily routines and transitions 

Communication and skill development strategies 

Generalization of skills across home and community settings 

School-Based Consultation & Collaboration

  Bridging the gap between clinic and classroom 


We collaborate with school teams to support student success in the classroom.


Services may include:

Classroom observation and behavioral analysis 

Development of behavior support strategies 

Collaboration with teachers and related service providers 

Alignment with IEP goals and classroom expectations 

Our goal is to promote consistency across environments and support meaningful participation in school-based activities.

Assessment & Evaluation Services

 Data-driven decisions, every step of the way


We use a combination of assessment tools to guide treatment planning and monitor progress.


Services include:

  • Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) 
  • Functional Analysis (when clinically indicated) 
  • Descriptive assessments (ABC data, scatterplots, interval recording) 
  • Skill-based and adaptive assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, EFL, PEAK, Vineland) 
  • Developmental and adaptive functioning evaluations 
  • Baseline data collection and ongoing analysis
